Responsibilities:
*Collaborate with the Content writing team and Program Managers to identify content to focus on based on priority needs.
* Work with stakeholders who use the product to gather information and turn it into customer ready content.
*Create new articles and update existing articles to reflect the latest features and functionality, in support of their needs. This includes assisting with content freshness efforts and SEO improvements.
* Author the documentation and test/validate and configurations that will be published.
* Respond to reviewer feedback and incorporate feedback as needed.
* Deliver documentation according to specifications and priorities provided by team
* Use content team tools, process, style guide and publishing guidelines to deliver high quality documentation. Tools GitHub, Markdown language, and Azure DevOps
Skills required:
* 3-5 years of technical writing experience and/or experience creating technical, customer facing content, specifically IT pro and DevOps content
* Experience writing Azure and/or Windows Server documentation and or Windows Server knowledge is a plus
* Ability to be self-sufficient and ability to work independently.
* Experience or familiarity with markdown and GitHub is preferred.
* Bachelor's degree in Technical Communications, Journalism, English, Computer Science or related field preferred. Work related experience may substitute for degree.
