Summary: The Hotel Manager oversees the operations of our boutique hotel, ensuring the highest standards of service, operational efficiency, and financial performance. This role involves leadership of all departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance, while delivering extraordinary guest experiences that reflect the charm and elegance of Wine Country. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision 401k Matching Sick + Vacation Time 2 Paid Holidays (Thanksgiving + Christmas) + 6 Floating Holidays Schedule: Wednesday – Sunday (minimum), based on business needs Weekends, Holidays, and Nights required Compensation: $90,000 - $100,000 salary + discretionary bonus based on KPI performance Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Operations & Financial Management Oversee hotel operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning across all departments. Monitor and manage financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue maximization. Implement operational strategies to ensure service excellence, efficiency, and profitability. Analyze financial reports and guest feedback to identify opportunities for improvement. Leadership & Team Development Lead and inspire a team of hospitality professionals, providing coaching, training, and performance management. Foster a collaborative environment focused on professional growth, teamwork, and high morale. Set clear expectations and goals, regularly monitoring and evaluating team performance. Guest Experience & Communication Ensure a personalized, high-quality experience that exceeds guest expectations and aligns with our 4-Diamond standards. Regularly interact with guests, addressing concerns and gathering feedback to ensure their satisfaction. Ensure seamless communication between departments to deliver a cohesive guest experience. Sales & Marketing Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement strategies that drive bookings and optimize occupancy. Utilize the hotel’s prime location in wine country to build partnerships with local wineries, restaurants, and event venues. Adjust pricing and marketing strategies based on market trends and seasonal demand. Standards & Compliance Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health, safety, and environmental standards. Uphold and enforce the hotel’s brand and service standards, ensuring consistency across all departments. Maintain regular review of safety protocols, emergency procedures, and risk management strategies. Perform any other duties as required by your Manager . You’ll Be a Great Fit If You Have: Proven experience as a Hotel Manager or General Manager, ideally within a luxury or 4-Diamond hotel. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience managing budgets, P&L, and driving financial performance. Deep understanding of luxury service standards and high-end clientele. Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays as required. A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management , Business, or a related field is preferred. Company Standards: Understand the PONTE Values, and Service Standards.
